Please Connect the Dots for Me

Cindy Arora May 16, 2023

I performed a prophetic act this week. I laid the preschool books that I am writing on the altar.

I was heading to church anyway to participate in worship and intercession. God’s presence is always palpable there. So, on a whim (at the Holy Spirit’s prompting), I put my computer and all my notes in my bag. I thought, I will polish my book proposal in His presence.

During the worship and prayer, God kept giving me ideas. Lay the “books” (computer and notes) on the altar and dedicate them to Me. Use the gold (glory) flags to dance over them, inviting My glory to infuse the books. Lay the glory flags on top of them to saturate them with My glory.

With all of God’s ideas burning in my mind, I could hardly wait for intercession to end, and the sanctuary to empty out. Finally, God and I were alone. I placed my things on the altar with reverence. I danced with joy before the Lord, like King David. I gently laid the shimmering gold flags on top of the books and knelt before the Lord. I poured my heart out in prayer, asking Him to use my offering. I prayed that lives would be changed, and generations would be mentored, etc.

A tremendous peace filled my soul. I knew something significant had just taken place.

I recorded all these things in my spiritual journal. I’m excited to see the outcome of His leadership, my prayers, and the prophetic act. I asked the Lord to remind me of this when I see the fruit of it. Please, Lord, connect the dots for me. Amen.

The farm workers were thrilled to be gifted Bibles in the local language. They started . . .
