The Psalm of the Prodigals

Cindy Arora December 13, 2022

I was so moved by this psalm written by Frank Curtiss, that I just had to share it with you (with his permission, of course). Frank is currently writing a book of psalms that he hopes will be published sometime next year. You can see his other books at his website: www.frankcurtiss.com.

Enjoy his psalm of the prodigals:

Yeshua says...

Every road leads back to me

The darkest highway

Has a light at the end

I am that lamp burning bright

I walk before them

I hem them in behind

I have never left them

Nor will they be forgotten

I am the shepherd

Who seeks the lost lambs

I will never give up

Until all are found

My light cannot be overshadowed

The darkness shall not overcome it

Every lie will be exposed

My truth will be victorious

My beauty cannot be hidden

It shines brighter than the sun

They will be drawn to my light

Every prodigal will come home

They will lift their eyes

And see me running to them

Rejoicing and singing with every step

As joy overcomes every sorrow

Remember my promises

On the day your hope fails

When your faith gives way

And your strength is gone

My promises are not dependent

On any human strength

They are mine alone to keep

For I am the faithful one

Who answers every cry of your heart

For it is my perfect will

That every son be found, and

Every daughter brought home to me

I’m excited to share with you the fruit God is producing from the seeds sown in Zimbabwe.

The resident missionaries continue to minister in Jesus’ name weekly at the mine and the neighboring farm. Recently, four men from another mine joined because they “wanted to hear about Jesus.” Praise God!

The farm workers were thrilled to be gifted Bibles in the local language. They started . . .
