What is My Purpose?

Cindy Arora February 9, 2021

The Preacher sought to find delightful words and to write words of truth correctly. Ecclesiastes 12:10

The young man redesigning my website for the book launch, asked for a single word to describe my purpose. What is my purpose? Why do I spend hours writing and rewriting devotions to post every week? Why do I share what I have painted whether it is good or not? What is my goal?

Encouragement. My goal is to encourage YOU!

This verse in Ecclesiastes expresses my goals nicely. This website is my opportunity to preach the Word, in season and out of season (2Tim. 4:2). Especially during this world-wide pandemic, I am grateful for this opportunity to share words of life and encouragement.

I diligently seek out ‘delightful words,’ words that will encourage, edify, and inspire you. As I read the Word, I ask the Holy Spirit for nuggets to share. As I listen to sermons, I wonder if the summary might be encouraging. As I hear people’s testimonies, I get excited to encourage others by sharing them with the world. I am always looking for ‘delightful words’ to share.

Of course, I seek to honor God by writing His truth correctly.

We would love to hear your comments on the redesigned website. Please send us a note on the ‘about’ page. Here are some features we have added to the website that I hope will encourage you.

You will be able:

  • - comment on the devotions in the blog',

  • - search within the blog for a key word (for example, Ephesians),

  • - download the first chapter of the book for FREE,

  • - pre-order the book when it is available,

  • - purchase original artworks.

Again, we would love to hear from you!
