His Hiding Place

Cindy Arora October 19, 2021

You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues. Psalm 31:20

I need to escape my negative, swirling thoughts. The voices of “he said, she said” rewind in my mind, sapping my energy and squandering valuable hours.

So, I turn my affection toward the Lord. I bare my heart before Him. I open my mind to His voice and His thoughts. I worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness. I give Him the glory due His name.

O’my God and my King, how great is Your goodness, which You have prepared for those who trust in You. You hide us in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of men. You keep us safe from the sting and strife of tongues.

Blessed are You, O’Lord, for You have shown me Your marvelous kindness. You hear the cry of my heart, and You answer. I continually place my hope in You because You strengthen my heart. Your faithfulness boosts my courage.

O’Lord, my heart is filled with love for You. I find peace and joy in Your Presence. I want to rest in Your hiding place forever. I will keep my mind stayed on You. I will rewind Your goodness, Your kindness, Your faithfulness. May Your voice be the only voice in my head.

Amen!!
