Unrestrained lust and self-gratification will not satisfy. Neither will wealth or success (Ecc. 2:1-11). King Solomon could confidently state these things because he had more women (700 wives, 300 concubines) and more wealth than anyone else – ever. So, he should know.

This Thanksgiving week, I number among my blessings God’s Word. The Bible is often referred to as a love letter from God. While that is true, the Word also has power. The power to restore identity and transform lives.

The Sixty Word Challenge
I was challenged to summarize my sixty years of wisdom into just 60 words.
I wanted this to be more than a fun writing exercise. I wanted this to be a heritage piece for my children. But how do you condense 60 years of life lessons into just 60 words? I knew I had to focus on the most important lesson. The one lesson which, if they would embrace it, would enable them to master all other life lessons.
