Zimbabwe Follow Up
I’m excited to share with you the fruit God is producing from the seeds sown in Zimbabwe.
The resident missionaries continue to minister in Jesus’ name weekly at the mine and the neighboring farm. Recently, four men from another mine joined because they “wanted to hear about Jesus.” Praise God!
The farm workers were thrilled to be gifted Bibles in the local language. They started . . .
Another Pentecost?
Is there another Pentecost coming?
The day God rushed into the Upper Room with a mighty noise and the fire of the Holy Spirit is known as Pentecost. God gave His Spirit and the Church of Jesus Christ was born.
In Hebrew, Pentecost is known as Shavuot. That is the day God commemorates . . .

On Mission with God
Dear Friends,
I am serving God in Zimbabwe. Our local missionaries have us leading worship in the community, blessing local pastors, ministering on the streets and reading Bible stories to children.
I encourage you to pray for us, that God would be glorified in all things..
Look forward to a report in two weeks. Bless you!
Would You Like a Christmas Devotional?
Grace Publishing accepted one of my short stories for their Christmas devotional entitled: A Gift of Love. As a contributor, I get a special price . . . that I am offering to you!
Do you know someone lacking in joy or feeling stressed out? This may just be the right gift for them - A Gift of Love. . .
Love Notes from God

Revival in The Pacific Northwest?
I jumped into the Pentecostal stream a little late. By the time I got here, I had missed the Toronto Blessings, the Smithton Outpouring and the Brownsville Revival of the 1990s. I prayed, “Please God, don’t let me miss the next one.”
I believe that is why . . .
Do Something You Love to Fight Something You Hate
This is the fundraising motto of Atlas Free. Mountain climber Jeremy Vallerand used his climbs to raise money to fight human trafficking, thus began Atlas Free. They are a non-profit organization building a global movement to put sexual exploitation out of business. And I want to be a part of that!
I can think of no greater evil than abusing the bodies and souls of children. I hate human trafficking!! . . . .
Come Join the Dance
I signed us up for a ballroom dancing class. I envisioned us gliding across the floor like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers after 6 weeks of classes. That didn’t happen.
I assumed I would . . . .
Stand in the Gap
Welcome to my real-life adventure in hearing God’s voice. Come along with me for the exciting ride.
Last November I had a Big idea in the shower that seemed to just pop into my mind (see “An Idea” on Nov. 14). It had to do with raising funds for anti-trafficking ministries by . . .
Lend Your Ear
My internal voice said, “She needs somebody to talk to.”
She sat at the end of the aisle with a blank stare. Church was over. The pastor had blessed us and dismissed us. But she just sat there. . . .
Companionable Silence
My husband and I have been married for 37 years, and we have settled into a companionable silence. Of course, we do share stories and . . .
