I had the privilege of sharing my creative testimony with women who are emerging out of spiritual darkness. They listened intently as I shared my story, and they excitedly participated in the creative expression I had for them afterwards. My greatest joy . . .

The mark made by this “man clothed in linen” protected the recipient from God’s coming judgment. Life and death were in the power of this man’s pen . . .

How do you recognize God’s voice?

Do you get asked that question? I do. Usually, I give examples of the different ways I have “heard” God speak.

Maybe you don’t think you are creative, but you are.

I am pausing to consider this verse in Isaiah because the Hebrew word translated as “mind” is unusual. It means “creative imagination.” . . . .

Do you wonder about the fruitfulness of your writing? I often struggle against the lie that I am wasting valuable time. Perhaps I should be feeding the homeless or doing some other fruitful ministry.

However, God promises . . .

. . . the worship leaders were simply playing softly for a long stretch. 

I don't know what they were doing during that time; I never opened my eyes. I was having my own encounter with the Lord.  . . .

The Vision

I had heard that the book of Job answers the suffering question: Why do we suffer? However, I was always unsatisfied with the answer. I was disappointed because . . .

I was living life on my own terms, without regard for the Lord. However, when I was in distress, I would pray to Him . . . and He would answer. Why would God answer someone who treated Him like a vending machine? . . . .

 This is the assignment of a lifetime for Ananias. God called Ananias to set aside his fear of a Saul, a known persecutor of the church, and partner with God to do something great. God asked Ananias to go pray for someone he greatly feared.

How many things do we miss because of fear? . . . .

Praise and worship were their turning point. Time and again throughout the wilderness wanderings, Israel grumbled and rebelled. . . .

God rescued Sarah from a homosexual and destructive lifestyle. Looking back, she realized how even the music she had listened to glorified corruption. The lyrics honored what God calls evil and drew her deeper into darkness. She was literally worshipping the enemy of her soul by singing along with his mantra. . . .

Susan called our prayer ministry in a panic! The pandemic had her feeling anxious and depressed. She didn’t have the courage to leave her apartment. So, she sat alone with her spiraling thoughts all day long. Yikes!
